System Requirements

  • Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 8, or later
  • Microsoft Excel 2007, Excel 2010, Excel 2013, or later
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or later*

Installation Instructions

2. Run the Money.Net Excel Add-In Installer or find and launch the file from your Downloads folder. The file should be named MoneyNet_Excel_Add-In_v###.exe (where ### is the current version number).

3. Launch Excel and open a blank workbook.

4. Click the File tab in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.

5. Click on Options.

6. Click on Add-Ins on the left navigation menu.

7. Click the Go... button toward the bottom of the window.

8. Click the Browse... button.

9. Browse to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Money.Net Excel Add-In.

If you have the 32-bit version of Microsoft Office (most common), click once to select MNetAddIn-AddIn-packed.xll, then click the OK button. Move to step 10.

If you have a 64-bit version of Microsoft Office (not common), click once to select MNetAddIn-AddIn64-packed.xll, then click the OK button. Move to step 10.

10. Ensure that MNetAddIn Add-In is checked, then click the OK button.

11. Close Microsoft Excel. Installation is now complete.

Using the Money.Net Excel Add-In

1. Click the Windows Start button in the lower left-hand corner of your screen. Click All Programs. Scroll down until you see Money.Net Excel Add-In. Click that folder to expand it, then click Money.Net Excel Add-In.
Note: In Windows 8 your navigation may be slightly different. From your Start Screen You can find all of your apps and programs in the Apps view. To get to the Apps view, slide up from the middle of the Start screen with your finger, or click the arrow Image Removed near the lower-left corner of the Start screen. You should then be able to find the Money.Net Excel Add-in section of your Apps and launch from there.


2. Type in your Money.Net username and password, then click the Login button.

3. After a few seconds, quote data will appear in your spreadsheet.

Tip

If you do not see the Money.Net Add-in Ribbon at the top of the platform or you do not receive a prompt to log in when you try to get data from the Money.Net add-in, you will need to perform the manual installation.
